My big idea for a movie trilogy…
So this is a brain dump of a movie trilogy idea I had one morning while travelling into work…it kinda expanded beyond a message on IM, to this…what thinks you all??
pan over a jungle…
deep in the trees…hidden away from humankind…a mini paradise…
a plane crash lands…
barrels everywhere…
and the first glimpse we have of our hero is a green tie…with red writing on it…
and two letters… “DK”
the auto-pilot system was thrown off…there’s no hope…the cargo is lost…
from one crate emerges the villain…
King Koopa…(the dino-turtle)
all of a sudden, he’s ambushed by a barrel across his shell…it’s our hero…Donkey Kong!!
(the movie)
the Japanese/American alliance that was transporting King Koopa to his trial at the world court sends in the mediator…an expert in human turtle relations…
part time plumber with his brother…
Mario!!! and his translator Yoshi…
his eldest son is the focus of movie 2…
“Diddy” Kong…
who leaves the jungle…stows away on Mario’s plane at the end of part 1…lands in NYC
wants to meet his hero…Sean “Puff Daddy/P Diddy/Diddy” Combs…
and make music with him…
and his introduction and progression through the NYC nightlife…his rise and rise through the charts…his increasing fame and how it brings focus to DK and his sheltered paradise…
and part 3…
DK…now a superstar in his own right…
t shirts, video games…action figures…the works…especially after his skill in dealing with King Koopa…
sets out to find his long lost cousin in this town called NYC…
his cousin was kidnapped and taken there many years ago…
he wants to reunite with his family…
so before he’s too old to travel..he makes his way from the jungle…
and he and his son diddy go on the search for DK’s cousin
